Multi Asset locations and cis

This is a question when to go for multiple asset loci or creat single workorder and multiple task for location and other assets... MULTIASSETLOCCI is a table in Maximo that helps you connect work orders to multiple assets or locations. Example usage  Suppose I need to change oil of various machines I can list all all these assets in a single workorder

Maximo pm alerts

Suppose I have a car which got some issue with breaks now i went to repair it in garage during this i found I hv a quarterly maintenance due on this next week now instead of again going to garage in will hv my repair and maintenance be done in one short. This is what pm alerts do when we create a workorder in a pm and go to approve it it alerts us that pm is due on this workorder do you want to generate wo for this also so asset will not be down again for pm maintenance. We define alert frequency in pm application.

Kit in maximo

A kit is list of consumable issued together. For example suppose a mechanic needs to change oil in rolls Royce car so he will ask storeroom manager to issue oil change kit. In oil kit he will get  Engine Oil Oil filter  Drain plug water Oil pan Grease gun Air filter etc.. They are issued together so mechanic don't hv to go again and again to the store manager.

Lot items

Some items hv lot type as checked in maximo what that means is they are produced or used in batches and they have expiry date. You can change an item from lot to no lot and vice versa only if hv not added to storeroom. By default an item is marked no lot

Maximo Application Suite Apppoints

Let's learn about APP Points today in Mas9 In simple terms Apppoints are like points you require to play a game. Similarly you require app points to use maximo. The more no of users and application or parts of maximo we want to use the more app points we require. If your environment is using more no of app point make sure session time out is properly configured to a optimum value. We gave access to user on maximo manage either in  concurrent way where multiple users simultaneously use system using same appoints which gets deducted after every hour usage or in a authorised way  using reserved Apppoints. Authorization for particular access will still be given in security group application.

We hv 3 apps in maximo for kpi KPI template  KPI manager  KPI viewer KPI template is used to create multiple kpo using variables. When creating kpi template thing about what that variable will be replaced with when kpi is generated using generate KPI. Kpi manager is to create single kpi. Kpi viewer is used to view kpi for analysis.
